LED channel with remote switch? Ooooooh, yes.

Getting power to decking lights is one thing, wiring a switch halfway up a wall just adds mess and complication. We now offer battery free wireless switches up to 4 gang, meaning you can control up to 4 circuits per switch. The switch can be mounted literally anywhere with the supplied screws or adhesive pad, or you can keep it in your pocket! I've fitted a few of these now and they're absolutely fantastic.

It's true... They used to be the huge screw-in E40 70w yellow sodium bulbs normally used in street lights, but age and heat took their toll on the internals and wiring. I rewired and converted them to LED so now the customer can fit any E27 screw in bulb they desire. To make control fully automated, I installed light sensors at the origin of each of their supplies. No messing with timers or apps, they come on when it's dark, and go off when the sun rises. Super easy.

The bulbs? Maybe I should keep the details a secret? 😅

£20 Blanco Cubic Monoblock kitchen tap. (Around £200 new). Chrome is a little tarnished, but was only used for a month or so until replaced with a Qooker tap. Fully functional, dirt cheap and still has the installation hardware.

Actually, gonnae no....It's properly fitted, but two chunky screws aren't going to support a full size human being and a heavy light fitting, so just you chill your beans there pal.

Nightmare! Everyone before me dodged the Asbestos fusebox problem and tapped off of anything and everything they could for more sockets, even the 1969s heating controller. Not just rubbish, but actually dangerous.

We teamed with AIB Scotland, the Asbestos removal specialists, to remove all the old unnecessary equipment and installed the safest fusebox available (we fit these as standard). We even got the old doorbell working again!

Simplified, neater, much safer, and properly licensed Asbestos removal. No more ancient fusewire, this customer now benefits from reset-able circuit breakers, RCD shock protection and Surge Protection the old fusebox could never provide.

Relocated a smoke detector to get this chandelier positioned in the corner of an L shaped hall. Customer supplied the new rose. Fully tested before fitting, of course.

The second fitting I rewired and is very a good example of why you should have vintage light fittings checked before installation. Twisted wires and tape left this quite dangerous. The new wiring (Gold braided cable) is soldered for a permanent connection and heat shrink wrapped several times. Two applications of chandelier cleaner and a few days to dry brought back the classic sparkle.
