2 WEEK PROGRESS UPDATE 🏠

Just 12 working days ago we were digging the footings… and this is where we are now.

There’s been a lot more involved in this one than simply getting the walls out of the ground. Existing drainage renewed and altered, new drainage installed, utilities relocated, stepped footings formed to deal with the changing ground levels, and a full block & beam floor installed.

Definitely not the most straightforward build, but we enjoy a challenge — and it’s great to see the transformation starting to take shape.

Brickwork and blockwork are now well underway, and over the next couple of weeks it’ll really start looking like an extension.

This project is going to make a huge difference to both the size and usability of the house, and once the main build is complete, we’ll also be turning our attention to the outside — renewing and altering the driveway, improving the surrounding areas and making a number of aesthetic changes to completely transform the kerb appeal of the property.

Plenty still to come on this one. We’re looking forward to sharing the transformation as it progresses. 👀

After a few enquiries about the stone on this one… 👌

The finishing touch to this kitchen was the stunning quartz, supplied and fitted by Stone Sense Ltd 😍

It’s the detailing that really sets it apart. The island is finished with seamless waterfall ends, with the veining carefully carried through from the worktop and continuing naturally down the sides for a beautifully flowing finish.

The same attention to detail carries through to the rebated drainer area, seamlessly worked into the quartz alongside that beautiful brushed copper undermount sink and matching tap. 👌

Making it up as we go along.

Designed. Built. Transformed. By KOKO. 🏠

A complete home and garden transformation, designed, managed and delivered from start to finish by KOKO Renovations Ltd.

This project started with three completely separate rooms — the kitchen, dining area and utility room. We stripped everything back, removed the dividing and supporting walls and installed the required structural steels, transforming three individual spaces into one large, bright, open-plan kitchen and living area.

The external layout was completely reworked too. Existing windows and door openings were bricked and blocked up, new openings formed and large bifold doors installed, opening the house directly onto the garden and completely changing the way the space feels and functions.

At the centre of the new kitchen sits a statement quartz-wrapped island, complemented by matching quartz worktops, integrated appliances and sleek cabinetry for a clean, seamless finish. Brushed copper sink, tap, pendant lighting and matching fixtures add warmth and detail against the darker cabinetry.

And the transformation didn’t stop at the back door…

Outside we carried out extensive garden alterations, including a new retaining wall, drainage works and a porcelain-paved outdoor living area, carefully tying everything back into the existing block paving. The existing sauna was also relocated and incorporated into the new garden layout.

From demolition, structural steelwork, brickwork and drainage to kitchen design, installation, bifolds, landscaping and finishing details, the entire project has been delivered by KOKO.

Just the external rendering left to complete and this one is wrapped up. 👌

A fresh bathroom transformation completed by the KOKO team. 👌

We stripped this one right back and gave the whole room a much-needed update:

🔨 Bath removed & old aqua boards stripped out
🚿 New walk-in shower enclosure & wall panels
💧 New waste runs & shower feeds — all neatly run from underneath
⚡ New spotlights & extractor fan
🚽 Bathroom suite repositioned & refitted
🪵 Herringbone flooring throughout
🎨 Full decoration & finishing touches

A much brighter, warmer and more modern space — and a massive difference from where we started.

🚿 Bathroom Transformation Complete 🚿

From dated and tired to modern and luxurious.

This project involved a complete strip out and redesign, including a fully tanked wet room, large format tiles, new window, upgraded boiler-fed rainfall shower, new electrics, Bluetooth illuminated mirror, and all new plumbing and fittings.

The old electric shower is gone, replaced with a powerful rainfall system fed directly from the boiler, creating a much better showering experience and a cleaner overall design.
