☀️ YOU SERVICE YOUR CAR, BOILER AND AIR CON… SO WHY NOT THE POWER STATION ON YOUR ROOF? ⚡

At MB Solar, we often talk about new installations, but maintaining your existing system is just as important!

This week, we attended a 12-year-old solar system that hadn’t been performing as expected… and looking at these photos, you can see why maintenance matters! 👀

With the customer having a new roof installed, we’ve removed the system ready for the roofing works. We’ll then return to reinstall the panels, give them a thorough clean and fit bird protection mesh.

🖤💛 Solar is an investment, and looking after it is key to getting the best return!

A simple annual service can help identify problems early and keep your system performing at its best.

☀️ Another installation completed by MB Solar — this time on a barn in Kinver!

Our customer originally approached us about adding battery storage. With high electricity usage and a small existing solar array, we identified an opportunity to make better use of the barn roof and provide a system better suited to her needs.

We decommissioned and removed the old system, replacing it with new panels, a larger inverter and a Sigenergy system with modular battery storage and home backup. 🔋

Working within the DNO’s limits on array size and export, we designed the upgrade to help her get more from her solar generation. We also reused the existing ducting for the long cable run from the barn to the house.

The result? A very satisfied customer and an improved solar and battery setup, making use of the barn roof without needing space on the main house. 🏡

Considering battery storage or an upgrade to your existing solar? Get in touch with MB Solar to explore what’s possible.

Another great shout out to the team who continue to deliver high quality installations day in, day out.

☀️ Another Solar & Battery Installation Completed in Stourport! 🔋🏡

We’ve made the most of this huge south-facing roof, installing sleek all-black solar panels for a fantastic clean finish. 👌

The system is complete with an inverter and battery storage, allowing the homeowners to generate their own electricity, store surplus solar energy and use it when they need it most. ⚡🔋

A brilliant roof for solar and another great installation by MB Solar! ☀️

☀️ Another complete solar installation in Greenhill, Kidderminster! 🔋🚗

This one is a great example of how solar, battery storage and EV charging can all work together as one complete home energy system.

We installed 14 × LONGi 485W panels, giving this property an impressive 6.79kWp solar array. The high-output panels help us maximise generation from the available roof space while keeping the finished installation looking smart. 👌

At the heart of the system is an 8kW FOX All-in-One, combining the inverter and battery storage into one neat unit. Instead of sending all that excess daytime solar back to the grid, the customer can store energy for use later when the sun goes down. 🔋

We also installed a FOX EV charger, allowing the customer to bring their car charging into the same energy ecosystem. 🚗⚡

📱 And this is where the complete FOX setup really comes into its own...
Having the solar, battery and EV charging within the same ecosystem means the customer has one app to keep track of their home energy, rather than having separate apps and platforms for different pieces of equipment.

They can see what the panels are generating, monitor their battery and energy usage, and manage their FOX equipment from one place.

☀️ Generate it → 🔋 Store it → 🏠 Use it → 🚗 Charge with it
A really tidy installation and another Greenhill home making better use of its own energy.

WHAT A 7 DAYS! ☀️🖤💛

It’s been another massive week for the MB Solar team!

We kicked things off with 3 days at the NEC as the UK Install Partner for S4 Mounting, catching up with existing customers, meeting plenty of new faces and showcasing the benefits of the S4 in-roof solar mounting system.

🎯 Friday night saw us swap solar panels for the oche with a brilliant darts exhibition featuring Luke Woodhouse!

⚽ Then on Saturday, we were proud to be Match Sponsor for Kidderminster Harriers vs Yeovil.

And while all of that was going on, the teams were still out there delivering:

🏠 2 domestic solar installations completed
🏗️ 77 new-build homes installed
☀️ Another 2 commercial solar project completed — with plenty more currently underway!

As we head into the final quarter of 2026, things certainly aren’t looking like slowing down.

A massive thank you to all our new and existing customers, partners, suppliers and everyone who continues to support MB Solar.

Plenty more to come. 🖤💛☀️
