Last year we transformed this kitchen diner and separate dining room into one big open kitchen diner with 5 metre bifold doors to make the most of the sun trap garden.

It was a cold one - we started in January and worked through February, with the doors fitted at the beginning of March - but of course we always insert temporary walls to try to protect the indoors from the elements as much as possible!

- Added a stud wall to create a utility/boot room, including moving the back door to allow more space
- Insulated all the floors and ceiling
- Reinforced the floor where the fish tank now stands
- Installed 6m steel beam to form opening for bifold door
- Installed a second steel beam where the old wall between the kitchen/diner was
- Rebuilt the patio wall & relaid the patio slabs to suit the new doors
- Rewired
- Blocked the old doorway between the old dining/room lounge
- Fitted a new kitchen complete with island and brick feature wall
- Plastered

Throwback to when we renovated the Beautiful Sulby Gardens in 2017! These photos are from during the project and capture a dormer window we added, changing a window to a door, inserting support beams and new drainage, and the internal walls.

What a fantastic idea, I couldn’t resist sharing!
We know renovations can cause chaos, and whilst they are all worth it in the end - this would make that process so much easier!

We work on commercial buildings too! These are some snippets from a little job we did for Northampton College - building an inside ‘street’ with ‘houses’ for one of their courses, and adding some work stations.
We’ve also done work at HMP Peterborough but of course no photos permitted there!
