Job Duties
Painting, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures;
Preparing surfaces for painting and finishing;
Preparing, priming, taping, sanding, scraping, sealing, patching and painting in both residential and commercial environments;
Skimming, repair and spraying of different ceiling textures;
Operating, cleaning and maintaining all painting equipment, including brush, rolls, sprayers, pumps, etc.;
Erecting scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes;
Operating and use of required tools and equipment skilfully and safely;
Practical knowledge of residential and commercial practices and processes of the painting trade; paints, varnishes, lacquers, enamels, epoxies, paint removers, and related materials, and of their properties and application.
