Just a few of the plants which we have supplied to our Clients over the summer, along with approximately 750 bags of compost, top soil and bark chips all with free home delivery subject to a minimum order value of £18, within a 10 miles radius of Kelmarsh.

Autumn work of hedge trimming and leaf clearing (which will no doubt be earlier this year, looking at our trees).

Let us know which plant/s you are looking to source or how many bags of compost/top soil/bark chips you require and we can normally supply the compost etc. within three working days.

Finally, in the wet/cold months (if we get any more!) we can help with garden, house and loft clearances at very reasonable prices.

EMAIL:- [email protected] for quotations and further information.

A few examples of the types of plants that we have sourced for our Clients in the last few weeks - lavender, osteospermums, kniphofias, heucheras and campanula (amongst others) - we can supply you with most types of plants, herbs and vegetables, usually at “better” than corporate garden centre prices, but with equally good quality!

Our herb and veggie stock is also looking good with the following items all ready to go out now:-

chilli’s (various varieties), - mature plants all in bud
tomatoes (various varieties), - mature plants all in flower
nasturtiums (mixed colours),
dill, sage, parsley, thyme, chives and oregano

We are also still supplying “tons” (literally) of top soil, compost, bark chippings and grow bags etc. to our Clients with free home delivery subject to a minimum order value of £15 (increased due to the hike in fuel prices!).

Latest prices are as follows:-
3 bags of compost (50 litre bags) - £17.25
3 bags of top soil (30 litre bags) - £17.25
3 bags of bark chips (50 litre bags) - £24.00
3 grow bags (Westland standard) - £19.00

We have also been able to get hold of some wonderful half whisky barrels that look great when they are planted up (see picture below) and they are £37.50 each, which includes free delivery within a 10 mile radius of Kelmarsh

Our “new” design and re-create service has proven to be very successful this year and we have several ongoing projects on the go at the moment so if you, or friends and family are seeking a “new look”, we can help with planting advice and design services.

Well I am sure that I am going to get an extremely mixed response to this post, however I feel that it needs to be said!

I was watching BBC News earlier which was implying that young people are being “hard done by” by Employers who are not giving them a chance in whichever way that may be construed.

Firstly, in the last two years ALL Employers, small and large have been hit hard by this appalling Government who think that raising NI contributions and the minimum wage will somehow benefit the economy?

This, of course is absolute “crap” as Employers are now nervous about taking on new staff, of any age - which added to the US/Iran crisis means that confidence is incredibly low right now.

Looking at the other end of the equation - young people (and I am not tarring them all with the same brush - do not generally seem to have any appetite for physical/outdoor work, with a few notable exceptions, who are still working with us!

I have encountered:-

1. Those who can’t get out of bed..
2. Those who can’t put down their phone (in spite of being told that it is a big “no no” when working at a Client’s house..
3. Those who tell me that they have some “gardening experience “ then quite obviously haven’t…
4. Those who really don’t want to work but have probably been told by parents that they have to, but really want to earn £50k per annum in front of a laptop/tablet.

We are absolutely stuck in the middle but being told that we must give young people - 16 to 24 years old in particular - a chance -realistically be are unable to do this without help from the Government and some effort on the part of young people who actually want to work!
