BOB’S GUIDE 🔴 Concealed hinges with the Festool DOMINO. 🔥
Who said the DOMINO was just for joinery? 👀
Here’s a simple way to cut in a concealed hinge on cabinet doors using the Festool DOMINO. No fancy jig, no overcomplicating it — just accurate marking and a few controlled cuts. 👌
🪚 Here’s the method:
1️⃣ Mark the centre line of your hinge.
2️⃣ Mark 9.25mm either side of that centre line.
3️⃣ Cut 20mm deep on the centre line.
4️⃣ Then make your 5mm deep cuts either side, lining up the 9.25mm marks with the centre line on the DOMINO.
And that’s it. Clean, simple and job done. ✅
💬 Be honest — would you have used the DOMINO for this, or reached for a different tool?
Save this one for your next cabinet job and send it to a chippy who loves finding another use for their tools. 👊
