A large Douglas fir removal we recently undertook for SSEN. Due to the close proximity of the road a full closure was required. We took advantage of this and used a 30m MEWP to section fell the tree. Another job done and another happy client!

Tree cutting works being carried out for Bear Scotland at Glenrothes Fife
Du to the amount of work being carried out a total road closure was required with a diversion in place
Works could only be carried out Saturdays and Sundays. Job was completed on time and on budget with another satisfied customer.
This job required a lot of pre planning and organising due to the 3500 m stretch of tree removal works adjacent to the A92 dual carriageway.

Some recent work WCS have carried out for SSEN on a high profile site at Clunie Switching Station. There was 120+ ft spruce trees between the Switching Station and a 132kv transmission that needed topped before 2 rope felling.
