A bit of a Friday debate for you... a proper bath or a walk-in shower?

We find that our customers will, more often than not, opt for a large walk-in shower. But we do still fit plenty of baths too, including P shaped, L shaped and some lovely freestanding options!

Huge shout out to our lovely customers that have us in their homes through weather like today's, often providing multiple fans and extra water (and sometimes even air con!) to make our team as comfortable as possible. While we're always monitoring the situation throughout both hot and cold weather to ensure the safety of our team, we massively appreciate you making things that bit easier for them!

We've got a HUGE bedroom order going out this morning!

Tash has been busy organising everything ready for it to all be collected, and everything you see in the foreground of these photos is just for one bedroom! The runners for the doors wouldn't even fit in a normal photo, I had to 0.5x zoom to even get them in 😳 we can't wait to see how this all looks installed!

We did promise an update for the tech nerds, so here it is 🤖

John and Callum have been working hard on (and still are) getting a proper network set up at Aquarius HQ, and it's finally all plugged in with some final technical setup steps and a bit of tidying to sort.

For us, this'll help streamline some of the work that we do in the office as all of our tech (internet, phones, computers etc) will run through one network at much faster speeds.

For you, we have also found that the quality of sound on our phone calls seems to be a lot clearer!

Personally, I couldn't tell you exactly what each part does and I don't know how to make this sound remotely interesting for those of you not interested in networks, but we did opt for the switch that has the posh lights on. Once we've fettled with the settings, it'll be lit up like Ilkeston Fair at night 😂

Anyway, back to bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms! Speaking of, we have something HUGE coming in a couple of weeks! Big celebration incoming, we'll share more on that one soon 🤫

Well, we've made it through to August, and some might say that it's nearly Christmas! (Some are very wrong, by the way... it's miles away!)

July was another busy month for us here with non-stop bathroom and kitchen installations. We're currently taking bookings for quote appointments towards the end of August for installation slots in 2027. If you're thinking about getting some work done next year, now's the best time to get the ball rolling - feel free to drop us a message! Here are a few of our favourites from July 🤩

Wow, what a few weeks it's been!!

It's been absolutely hectic at Aquarius HQ! We've been a little bit quiet lately as we've been working on something HUGE in the background... We can't share it with you just yet, but lets just say that there will be a LOT to celebrate over the coming months 🎉

In the meantime, here are a few of the lovely bathrooms that we've been working on throughout July! Byron's off this week on annual leave, which means that John's been in charge of organising the fitters for next week, including our weekly job board. Who can guess where Sean and Andy are off to based on his clues? 👀

All of us at Team Aquarius are wishing the very best to Abbie, our Office Administrator, as she begins her maternity leave and her journey into parenthood 🥳

Abbie's been with the team for many years now and has become a familiar friendly voice to so many of our customers. We couldn't be more excited to meet her new addition when they arrive! 🥰

In lieu of Abbie, we want to wish Ellie a proper welcome to Team Aquarius! You may have spoken to her on the phone/over email already while she's been training with Abbie, but expect to hear much more from her as she settles in! Welcome to the team, Ellie 😊

A mini day trip for some of us this morning!

We popped into Trowell Garden Centre for a few bits and bobs, and it turns out you can feed the fish there?! Common knowledge apparently, news to some of us (literally just me).

We even treated the team to a Starbucks on our way back (sorry Costa, there was too much traffic 💔).

Hopefully you've all been staying safe in the sun this week, it's been BOILING. Thankfully we should be seeing a slightly cooler weekend... We hope you all have a good one!
