Wow! We can’t believe the difference in this exterior project we have recently completed. This has been a long time coming, with the job booked in since February, it was really nice to see the building finally coming to life. We used Johnstone’s storm shield brilliant white on this building, in our opinion it looks brand new. It’s safe to say the residents were very happy!

You guys have gone crazy for November bookings, so now we are booking into December! It would be amazing to get as many of you fitted in before Christmas as we can! Here at Jack Pearson Painting and Decorating we use only the best equipment to complete our jobs!
Some of our kit in daily use includes our mirkauk sander, which is a completely dustless extraction system that leaves little to no mess in your home. Also in our kit is a range of Purdy and Arroworthy UK & Ireland Distributor brushes and rollers, which in our opinion are the best on the market. Lastly, we use only the best Johnstone's Decorating Centre trade paint, which comes in every colour you could imagine and if you can’t find one you like - they do colour match to all main paint brands. We source ours locally from Billy Roberts over in Barnstaple.
The combination of all this quality equipment allows us to create an efficient and seamless finish in your home - only the best for our customers!

Did you know here at Jack Pearson Painting and Decorating we are happy to travel to anywhere within North devon to complete your decorating needs! This means we cover areas such as Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Braunton, Barnstaple, Bideford and Northam- to name but a few. Essentially, if you have work that you need doing, we are most likely able to travel to you to quote, price and complete works.

An example of this is this recent job completed in Braunton. This room is a mix of Johnstones cleanable matt with a stunning wallpaper feature wall and really brightens up the space. With the weather having changed it’s nice to be starting interiors as well as finishing up the years exterior quota. We still have some winter space and with our newly expanded team, we have even more availability to restore your homes to full glory this winter, just get in touch !

It’s the final touches that make all the difference ✨

Part of the recent works we have been completing included applying osmo oil to the oak doors within the interior of the property. This finish was an excellent choice by the customer and really brings out the grain in the wood. Application also insures that the doors are protected from moisture, scratches and humidity.

I have spent the last few days mist coating this new build using the spray gun. It has proved to be such an amazing time saving tool for base and mist coats, definitely worth the investment .

In other news… with a change in the weather due in the coming months as we transition to Autumn (I’m not wishing away summer I promise) my winter books are now open and filling up fast. Obviously no outside painting in rainy England in the winter months, so this would be the perfect time to tackle that interior decorating project you’ve been delaying all of summer so you aren’t stuck inside.

A whole new look for this bungalow in Braunton📍

Absolutely loving the vibrant door colour chosen by the client on this bungalow property. really adds a pop of colour ahead of the summer.
For anyone who might be thinking their house could do with a summer spruce up, I still have some limited availability over the summer months, but slots are filling up fast!

Prep work carried out properly-fungicidal wash, repairs, filling, sanding, followed by a fresh masonry finish.
