Hi, I'm Hannah. I built our business Coastal Keys after 16 years with Norfolk Constabulary, the last 10 years based out of Hunstanton. I fell in love with the town and the coast and vowed to move here. In January 2023 Ryan and I bought a small unloved house on the seafront, completely renovating it in 8 weeks before moving in. Later that year we began building Coastal Keys. After spending year after year working in our coastal villages and seeing just how empty they were outside of the summer months, we saw just how many home owners leave their properties empty and unttended for weeks at a time. We often got called to empty homes, where alarms had gone off or problems had been encountered and there was no one near by to deal with the problems. We realised we could help the owners to look after their homes and keep them safe, by being trusted keyholders with local knowledge. We check empty properties every week, making sure they are secure, safe, not experiencing issues such as leaks or damage. When issues arise we are able to deal with them, keep owners informed and provide peace of mind while they are our of county. We have since branched out into helping owners who let their homes to holiday makers in our beautiful part of the country. We carry out pre rental checks to make sure everything is ready for guests, deliver Norfolk produce hampers and also offer 24/7 call outs, should guests encounter problems during their stay. When we're not busy up & down the coast, we're pottering in the garden of our 'new to us' Victorian house in Hunstanton (our second renovation project!) or designing the next room, doing the school runs and working the day jobs.. no two days are the same! Meeting people and making connections is my thing, I'm passionate about Norfolk, beaches, the countryside, period properties, eating out, choosing paint colours, good skincare (I'm also a Tropic Skincare Ambassador) and binge watching thrillers & dramas! I'm always happy to meet people at their homes or out for coffee and you're also very welcome to come and chat to us at our house before deciding to take us on 😃
