A small cut roof, but one packed with detail. The tapered layout following the boundary line added complexity throughout the build, with the rear dormer adding another level of detail while making the most of the views across East Devon.

Mathematics working hard on this cut roof and it never lets us down. A lot of setting out and precision went into this one from start to finish.

Exactly the type of work we enjoy as cut roof specialists.

Handing this one over for the external finish while we move onto the next one

Fitting the worktops on this project. Compact laminate—if you know, you know. It’s an unforgiving material to work with, so getting crisp lines, accurate cut-outs and a clean finish takes real precision.

marble-effect compact laminate worktop installed with a clean joint, hob cut-out and sink cut-out, finished off with a matching upstand and a custom-made splashback for a seamless run, sealed and finished with .uk boiled linseed oil.

Compact laminate is a great choice when you want the look without the worry—tough, practical, and easy to live with.

This one went from bare walls and exposed services to a bright, clean and super-practical space. Loads more storage, a crisp finish, and a layout that makes the room work harder without feeling cramped.

We fitted a run of shaker cabinetry with deep drawers, a durable worktop + upstands, and a custom tower unit made to suit the space — max storage without blocking the natural light.

✨ DIY SOS Feniton 2025 ✨

An incredible week – chaotic at times and completely unforgettable. Proud to have been part of the DIY SOS team, grafting alongside a cracking bunch of trades and volunteers – fuelled by coffee, cakes and plenty of laughs. Long days, late nights, hard work…

Most importantly, it was all for a family who genuinely deserved it. A house they can now call home. Massive respect to everyone who turned up with their skills, energy and big hearts.

Back to the workshop tomorrow, but this one will stay with me for a long time. 👊🔨 Got the hi-vis signed by the whole crew too — something I’ll definitely treasure. 💛

Another exciting project taking shape 👷‍♂️✨

This is Phase 1 of a larger build – a rear extension that’s already transformed the back of the house with new blockwork, a roof structure, and large sliding doors to flood the space with light. Once finished, it’ll give the family a bright and open living area to enjoy.

Next up, Phase 2: a double-storey extension – a garage with an en-suite bedroom above. Watch this space, it’s going to be a fantastic transformation!

Full kitchen and utility renovation. New plumbing, electrics and freshly plastered walls, getting both rooms ready for the design.

Natural oak units fitted with Chilcomb Antique Rose shaker doors and decor panels. Finished with white marble-effect compact laminate worktops, matching upstand and splashback for a clean, seamless look.

QStep Oak luxury rigid vinyl flooring fitted throughout—hardwearing, low-maintenance, and a perfect match for the overall look. Finished off with fresh chamfered skirting.
