With England taking on Norway this Saturday, the County Funerals team is proudly showing our support in our own unique way!

Our England FIFA World Cup themed coffin is on display, complete with the Three Lions colours and football-inspired design. While it’s a bit of fun ahead of the big match, it also highlights how every funeral can be personalised to reflect the passions, interests and personality of the person being remembered.

We’ll be cheering the lads on this weekend and wishing England the very best of luck! Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁

Today marks a special day for remembering and reminding bereaved parents that we are still supporting and remembering them.

Today marks National Bereaved Parents Day. Our thoughts are with all parents who are forever grieving a beloved child - today and every day.
Huge thanks go to A Child Of Mine - Supporting Bereaved Parents for establishing this day of awareness and giving parents the space and platform to speak about our grief and our beautiful children.

With the warmer temperatures continuing, we wanted to share some simple advice to help keep you comfortable when attending a funeral service.
At County Funerals, caring for families extends beyond arranging a meaningful farewell. We understand that hot weather can be challenging, particularly during an emotional day, so we have put together some helpful tips to support those attending services over the coming days.
To help keep families comfortable and hydrated, we will also have complimentary bottles of water available in our limousines throughout the warm weather period.
If at any point during a service you feel unwell, overwhelmed, or need assistance, please speak to a member of our team. We are always here to help.
Your wellbeing is important to us and we will continue to do everything we can to ensure every farewell is conducted with compassion, dignity and the care you expect from our team.

With temperatures expected to remain exceptionally high over the next couple of days, the wellbeing of both the families we serve and our team is our priority.
To help keep our funeral team safe and comfortable while carrying out their duties with the utmost care and professionalism, they will not be wearing their funeral jackets during services over the next two days.
Rest assured that our team will continue to be smartly presented and respectful at all times, maintaining the dignity and professionalism that every family deserves.
Should any family prefer our team to wear full traditional uniform, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Thank you for your understanding as we take sensible steps to protect our staff during the heatwave while continuing to provide the compassionate service you expect from County Funerals.
Caring for our team helps us continue caring for your family.

One of the products that caught our attention at the National Funeral Exhibition 2026 was the latest range of Scatterpods from Clarke and Strong.
Beautifully designed and easy to use, Scatterpods provide a respectful way to keep your loved one's cremated remains safe until you're ready to scatter or bury them. We were delighted to see the new designs on display and learn more about the options available to families today.
