Called to a electric shower not working, found the pull cord switch had burnt out.

I stripped back and reinsulated the cables that had some heat damage and installed a new pull switch and job done.

I also carried out some tests on the safety ancillaries on the board to ensure the customer was properly protected.

PTFE saves the day!!

Customer had a leak from the valve on the boiler filter, initially thought the valve was passing. Turns out it just needed a bit of PTFE around the thread.

Leak stopped
Boiler repressurised
Job done 👍
