The government has today announced to give a huge boost to the budget available for people to use the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), where homes can claim up to £7500 in funding towards the cost of a new heat pump. The UK Government will make £295m in grant funding available to homes switching from gas boilers to heat pumps in the next financial year, up from £150m over the current period.
