It was such a pleasure to grow & arrange the flowers for this Summer Solstice wedding. The brief was colourful to complement Jenna’s incredible dress, with plenty of McLaren’s signature ‘Papaya Orange’ for the groom. A wild & natural ceremony arch was sited in a beautiful old Somerset apple orchard, floating flower bowls were dotted around, simple gypsophila flower crowns for the bride and 6 bridesmaids, the most colourful bouquets (with a huge amount of floristry magic from the brilliant .flowers), a huge Mediterranean style urn, and the table centre bud vases were arranged by the couple’s parents and friends using our curated mixed buckets of blooms the day before. A really gorgeous, fun wedding brief bursting with the season’s best Somerset blooms. ITS BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK and we are feeling so much gratitude for the loyal customers, our brilliant, like-minded collaborators and our awesome little team of helpers. It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey so far, and we’re excited to keep learning from Mother Nature. Here I am, head in a cloud of Ammi Majus, and a few other faces that have started to peek out into the world this British Flowers Week. Thanks to all of you, for all of it! Chloë Xx

It seems the alternating sunshine and rain we’re having is working well for the roses… and maybe I’m finally getting the pruning & feeding regime right! Frustratingly, I’ve forgotten which variety this is (when will I learn?!? 🙄) but a rummage through my old notebooks should hopefully help me remember, and then I’ll be punching out the label swiftly… 🍑 🌹

Beautiful bunches heading out this week… I just wish I could share the incredible scent! Phacelia, sweet rocket, sweet William and the last of the scented narcissus combine to for the most delicious fragrance!

First of the geums are stopping me in my tracks again! Some shorter stems lengths, but soon they’ll be getting taller and looking gorgeous with their other late spring companions… in the vase here simply paired with this gorgeous cornus…
