♻️ Heat Pump Installation | Hot Water Set-Up

This is part of a recent Grant Aerona R290 air source heat pump installation in Little Chalfont, completed by the Red Van Plumbers team.

Alongside the 15.5kW heat pump, we installed a Zilmet hot water cylinder and the associated equipment and pipework needed to create the complete heating and hot water system.

As you can see from the photos, the same attention to detail goes into the parts of the system inside the home as the heat pump itself. 👌

Our engineers design and install complete air source heat pump systems, from the outdoor unit through to the heating and hot water equipment inside your property.

Thinking about switching to a heat pump?

💷 Eligible homeowners can currently receive a £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant towards an air source heat pump installation.

🏡 Air source heat pump + underfloor heating in Maidenhead

We recently installed a 9kW Grant Aerona R290 air source heat pump at this property in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

The system works alongside the home's underfloor heating, which is particularly well suited to heat pumps because it can distribute warmth effectively at lower water temperatures. The homeowner also benefited from the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant, helping to reduce the upfront cost of making the switch.

🔧 Before & After: A hot water cylinder that had reached the end of the road!

The old cylinder at this home in Chalfont St Peter had started leaking and needed to be replaced.

Our engineers removed the old system and installed this new Heatrae Sadia Megaflo unvented hot water cylinder, leaving the customer with a professionally installed replacement and their hot water system back up and running. ✅

If you've noticed water around your hot water cylinder, signs of corrosion, or something simply doesn't seem right, it's worth getting it checked before a small problem becomes a bigger one, especially at this time of year.
