When it all comes together
-

This stunning bespoke project we completed a few months ago in Rickmansworth is still one of my favourite projects to date.
-

The use of venetian plaster with our dark oak finished units contrast so well.
-

To top it all off the client kept this stunning real log burner which I wasn't sure about at the beginning but once all cleaned up you can appreciate how unique this looks.
-

If you're lookong for a bespoke media wall company that deals with all the design, project management and aftercare. LV Carpentry & Tradesmen are hands down the best in the UK for bespoke media walls.

It starts with your vision. 👀 → 🏠

From the first CGI design to the final finished media wall, every stage matters.

It starts with your vision.
We take your ideas and turn them into a clear design, so you can see how your new media wall will look in your home before the build takes shape.

Built properly, from the inside out.
What you don’t see is just as important as what you do. Solid construction, careful preparation and experienced workmanship create the foundations for a flawless finish.

One team. Every detail.
No juggling multiple trades or trying to coordinate different contractors. We provide a complete turnkey service, managing your project from concept and construction through to those all-important finishing touches.

The CGI sets the vision.
The build brings it to life.
The finished result speaks for itself. ✨

FROM START TO FINISH, EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF.

When we say full turnkey service, we mean it.

From the moment we arrive, we take care of everything. We start by professionally protecting your floors and your home before any work begins — and we don’t finish until your new setup is complete, tested, cleaned and ready to enjoy.

🔥 Fireplace installation
📺 TV installation & setup
🔊 Full audio solutions
⚡ Electrical work
🛠️ All associated building & finishing works
🧹 Protection, preparation and a professional clean finish

No juggling different trades. No chasing multiple contractors. No wondering who’s responsible for what.

One team. One point of contact. One complete service.

Every part of your project is handled in-house by professional, trusted, reliable and experienced tradesmen, with the same attention to detail from the first sheet of floor protection going down to the final handover.

And when we’re finished?

We hand you the remotes for your TV, fireplace and audio equipment, show you exactly how everything works, and leave you with a finished installation that’s ready to sit back and enjoy. 👌

Everything taken care of. Everything under one roof.

Why would you go elsewhere?

Part 2 — Hertfordshire Media Wall Project | Master Bedroom

For Part 2 of this Hertfordshire media wall project, we’re keeping things as minimal and contemporary as possible.

At the centre, we're creating a sleek recessed TV, finished with our signature Venetian plaster for a clean, seamless look.

Complementing this, we will be adding a beautiful floating unit below, with real wood veneer panels either side to bring warmth and texture to the design.

Simple, refined and completely bespoke.

We can’t wait to bring these spaces to life. Stay tuned to see how it all comes together! 👀✨

The biggest mistake homeowners make when choosing a media wall?

It has nothing to do with the design.

The biggest mistake is assuming every media wall should be built the same.

Every home is different. Ceiling heights vary. Natural lighting changes throughout the day. Room proportions, viewing angles, furniture layout, and even the size of the space all play a huge role in creating a media wall that actually looks and feels right.

That's why we never copy and paste a design.

At LV Carpentry & Tradesmen, every media wall is designed and built to suit your home, not someone else's. We take the time to get the proportions right, so it looks like it was always meant to be there.

A great media wall isn't just about looking good on Instagram. It's about creating a feature that perfectly complements your home and enhances the way you live in it.

Geometric or classic.

Open or closed. Tall, floating, backlit or minimal. Every shelf on your media wall can be made in any combination of shapes you like, it's all bespoke.

You choose the width, the depth, the height, and exactly where every compartment sits. No off-the-shelf units. No compromise. Just shelving drawn in 3D before a single cut is made, then built to the millimetre for your room.

True bespoke joinery isn't about choosing from a catalogue, it's about creating something that couldn't exist anywhere else.

Every shelf is designed around the room, every panel is manufactured in our workshop, and every finish is carefully considered before installation begins. The Venetian plaster is applied entirely by hand, creating natural movement and gold veining that makes every feature wall one of one.

It's this combination of skilled craftsmanship, premium materials and attention to detail that sets a truly bespoke installation apart.

If you're looking to create a media wall that's designed specifically for your home, not adapted to fit, we'd love to help.

📍 Designed. Manufactured. Installed.
