Sample day at the studio — before anything gets specified for our East Dulwich project, we lay the entire material palette options out together: every tile, stone and timber sample, side by side.

It’s the only way to really judge how everything sits next to everything else, so the flooring, cladding and finishes across every level end up complementing one another rather than being chosen in isolation.

Hours of laying out, comparing and re-arranging — but always worth it before a single material gets ordered.

At our Beckenham project, we added an angled rear extension with an external canopy that is orientated towards the best views; and a two-storey side extension, alongside thermal upgrades to the existing house to allow for an air source heat pump 🏠

More light, better insulation and a much stronger connection to the garden 🌳

The project included a full internal refurbishment, wraparound ground floor extension, garage conversion and loft conversion, completely reworking the house to make better use of the space throughout.

We transformed a cold, disconnected Edwardian terrace into a warm, sociable family home — built around cooking, gathering and everyday rituals.

A three-metre-high window frames the garden behind the kitchen sink, clay-plastered walls and oak joinery bring warmth and texture, and a bespoke half-height tiled wall lets the kitchen stay part of family life without giving away every mess.
