⛳ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 🦁

We were delighted to sponsor the 8th hole at the recent Hereford Lions Club Charity Golf Day — a brilliant event raising funds to support the important work they do across Herefordshire.

Hereford Lions Club has been serving the local community since 1960, bringing volunteers together to fundraise, organise community events and support local people, organisations and good causes. They also form part of Lions Clubs International, connecting that local work with a worldwide network of volunteers.

For us, supporting local organisations like this is about more than simply putting our name on a sign — it’s about backing the people who give their time to make a real difference in the community we work in every day.

A big thank you to everyone at Hereford Lions Club for organising another fantastic fundraising event — and we hope everyone who took part enjoyed their round.

We may know more about tubes than tees… but we were very happy to have our name on the 8th! ⛳😄

A little appreciation for our team — and everyone else who’s been working outdoors through the recent heat ☀️👏

A little cooler today… and we don’t think many people working outdoors will be complaining! ☀️

After the recent heat, our thoughts have been with everyone whose working day means being outside in it 🫶

Our teams have certainly been feeling the heat, and this photo captures Kuba hard at work in the sunshine - not exactly the weather for extra layers… even if hi-vis is non-negotiable 😅

Working at height is demanding enough without adding soaring temperatures into the mix, so a big shout-out to everyone who’s been getting the job done outdoors over the last few weeks.

Hopefully today’s cooler temperatures have been a welcome bit of relief!

A slightly different use for our scaffolding 🐮…

Earlier this month, we were back at Tenbury Showground for the annual Tenbury Countryside Show, an event with an incredible history dating all the way back to 1858.

For over 10 years, we have played a small part in show day preparations, erecting scaffolding to be used as stock rails for the cattle at the National Hereford Show who were celebrating their 40th year!

It’s not every day our tube and fittings are used to accommodate quite so many four-legged VIPs… but after more than a decade, we’d say we’re pretty well accustomed to this particular herd! 😄

Always a pleasure to be involved in such a longstanding countryside tradition right on our doorstep.

Next years show will be be held on Saturday 7th August 2027 📅

Who said scaffolding was just for buildings? 👀

Just when we thought we'd heard it all...
..the office phone rang, and someone asked us to confirm an order for one grey fish 🐟😂
Safe to say they had the wrong Jones!

What's the strangest wrong-number call you've ever received?

We recently erected this smart scaffold in the heart of Bromyard for decoration works, providing safe access while the building gets a freshen-up.

Projects like this might look straightforward, but they still require careful planning to ensure the work can be carried out safely, neatly and with as little disruption as possible in a busy town centre location.

This one was erected by Scott, Ashley “Pickles” and Pat 👏
