Good start to a job! Turned up expecting to install a brand-new pipe run from the manhole, only to find the person who did the first part of the work a couple of years ago had already run the pipe halfway to where it was meant to go. Saved us a good amount of work! We just had to figure out where the end was without digging up too much of the road so we pushed some drainage rods up the pipe to give us a rough idea then dug a slip trench to locate it .

Another one I really enjoyed working on!

Removed all vegetation & waste, excavated the area, levelled and compacted the ground, laid topsoil. Dug out the footpath, installed edgings, laid MOT Type 1, and finished off with decorative granite stone.

4th time back here in just over 2 years! We did the first part of the driveway, never thought we'd be back but they keep extending it. Must be doing something right.

Quick note:
if you're only using a wacker plate and skipping the roller for compaction, you're not doing it properly. You'll end up with sinking and movement further down the line 🫡

Well, we finally got there! Foul drainage diversion, underpinning, and cutting into a live sewer was a race against time - we had three occupied houses connected. What a challenge, but mission complete!
