Another traditional lime-built home carefully restored the right way.
We removed the old render using power tools only where necessary, with the majority of the work completed by hand using a scutch chisel to protect the original lime and brickwork underneath. No harsh chemicals were used at any stage, as chemical removal can damage traditional lime-built properties and compromise the integrity of the bricks and mortar.
Once prepared correctly, the entire property was repointed using a proper lime mortar mix, allowing the building to breathe as it was originally designed to do.
