Project Complete ✅

This one has a lot of love on our socials and from passersby, which has been incredibly satisfying and great to hear.

When my clients said they wanted the bushes and tree removed but didn’t know what to do afterwards, this was my vision. This was the concept I put forward.

I had already worked for this couple, around 8 years ago. I designed and landscaped their back garden, so they had complete trust in me and my abilities.

Another seamless project, finished to an incredibly high standard. Swipe to see the before 👉🏻

I’ve given these round posts all manor of protection. They’re painted with HD timber coating from ground level downwards and wrapped in HD post tape for an extra layer of protection. These posts will out live us all 😅

Installing pier caps 👷🏻‍♂️

‘The cherry on the cake’ I’ve been so excited to get these installed atop the pillars. They really complete the vision and make it pop. I’m so happy with this project, and I’m grateful for my clients trust again - I landscaped their garden 7 years ago so it was nice to work for them again.

Back to finish the pointing in tomorrow. Our trusted electrician will install the lighting and this job is complete ✅

Custom Slat Fencing - Part 2

This got me very excited. Not only do I love working with timber but the visual transformation of this part of the project was HUGE!

Really happy with the outcome, the vision is coming to life. Pier caps still need to be installed, that’s the cherry on the cake. That’s the POP!

Follow to see the final parts of the project 🫶🏻

Slat fencing - Part 1 👷🏻‍♂️

I do love me some carpentry, the tools are so cool!

Knocking up a frame for this custom Venetian style fencing. Securing it nicely in between the pillars of the new wall.

This is going to be mega 😍 make sure you follow along for Part 2!

Weekend planting 🌱

Planted these cherry laurels yesterday for my clients. These now offer low level screening, which should stop the dogs from barking at people walking past.

Topped with mulch to help suppress weeds and help lock in moisture.

A quick glow up, minimal effort - maximum impact with relatively low maintenance

Mulch from Thompsons Of Crews Hill Ltd

A personal feat 💪🏻

I don’t lay bricks often so when I started and realised how slow I was it become more than a physical challenge. My mind was failing me, seeds of doubt - had I bitten off more than I could chew? Would I ever finish it?

I showed up, day after day and brick by brick I was getting through it. Course by course this wall grew and with it my pride and sense of accomplishment.

As I laid the final few bricks I realised not only had I built the wall but I’d battled self doubt and won.

I could have earned more money if I’d subbed the bricklaying out to a contractor but the satisfaction I got at the end meant more to me than the extra few quid.

I’ll remember this project, it taught me so much.
