Tight access stump removal in Bishop's Stortford.

The stump was tucked into the corner of a mid-terrace garden, surrounded by fencing, walls and raised borders, leaving very little room to work. We ground it out below ground level, cleared up and left the area ready for whatever comes next.

After trying to dig it out and even burning part of it, they decided it was time to bring in the right machine.

36 stumps cleared last week in Great Dunmow for a local tree surgeon.

This was the first proper job for the new Bandit SG-40 from Global Machinery Solutions Ltd, and it didn't have an easy introduction.

The site had everything buried in it... metal stakes, bricks, concrete, barbed wire and even an old-school monkey wrench. It also claimed six teeth along the way, but the job got finished and the site was left ready for the next stage of the project.

Removed this tree stump today with the new Bandit SG-40.

The stump was surrounded by established plants, edging and a garden light, so protecting the area was just as important as the grinding itself. We completely ground out the stump to create space for a new tree to be planted, then backfilled the area with the grindings.

Stump Grinding Completed in Sawbridgeworth

Access was only possible via a set of garden steps, so a temporary ramp system was used to get the grinder into the rear garden.

Stump ground below ground level and left ready for replanting.
