Called out as gas engineer received a shock from the Gas intake on a hob. Turns out all earths in the house were live and received 230 volts even when main switch at the fuse board was turned off. Video shows that when the main braided earth was taken out of the earth block I was getting 230v from the lead outer sheath on the intake. Turns out a junction box in the street used to T off into the house had failed and the live was touching the lead outer sheath. Not only did the client have no earth in the house, but their main earth was now effectively another 230v live phase!!

Challenging one - 25mm 3 core armoured ran from new metre box through to house. Lewden fused isolator and New Cu with temporary circuits. All ready for UKNP and new metre next week

LED upgrade in a bathroom.

First time using compact eco down-lights, as I needed down-lights with a shallow depth.

These were perfect for what I needed - will certainly be using again!

New batten lights installed in a school corridor.

Kitchen extension started this week. Internal walls are natural brick. Client wanted industrial look hence the galvanised steel conduit and metal clad faceplates!

Bit of a complicated design as we had to combine socket, outdoor light switch and outdoor light.
