After dealing with hundreds of wasp nests in lofts, sheds, hot tubs, roofs and all sorts of unusual places, I thought I’d seen just about everything….until finding this one inside a children’s pushchair.

26/09/2026

We removed this active wasp nest from a customer’s shed after they noticed increased activity. Sheds provide the perfect nesting environment – they’re sheltered, dry and can have plenty of quiet corners that remain undisturbed for weeks.

If you’re moving boxes, tools or garden equipment and notice wasps regularly coming and going, take care before reaching into areas you can’t see.

If you discover a nest, keep your distance and get in touch for safe, professional removal.

🔥🐝 Please don’t try this at home!

We were called out to this partially burnt wasp nest after a customer’s attempt to destroy it with fire hadn’t worked. Despite the damage to the nest, there were still plenty of live wasps inside – and understandably, they weren’t particularly happy about being disturbed!

Trying to burn a wasp nest can create a serious fire risk and may provoke the colony, increasing the chance of multiple stings. If you discover a nest, keep your distance and leave the treatment to someone with the correct equipment.

This one was safely dealt with and the remaining wasps treated.

This nest was hidden deep inside a bush, making it almost impossible to see unless you were looking for it. The only giveaway was a steady stream of wasps flying in and out of the same spot.

If you're cutting hedges, trimming shrubs or working in the garden this summer, keep an eye out for regular wasp activity.

Spotting a nest early can help prevent an unpleasant surprise. If you think you've found a nest, keep your distance and get in touch for safe, professional removal.

Our treatment costs are fixed at £70 and treatments are guaranteed.

🐝 Hidden in plain sight!

This wasp nest was tucked away inside a customer's garden bush, making it incredibly difficult to spot until the wasps were regularly flying in and out. Nests like this can easily be disturbed while gardening, trimming hedges or playing nearby.

If you notice consistent wasp activity around the same bush or shrub, it's worth keeping a safe distance and getting it checked before someone accidentally disturbs the nest.

Our treatment costs are fixed at £70 and treatments are guaranteed.

🐝 Ever wondered what wasps are doing when they keep disappearing into an air brick?

This video shows wasps entering an air brick to access a cavity wall, where they’ve started building a nest. If you look closely, you can even see them carrying pieces of cavity wall insulation back out as they clear space for the nest to expand.

If you notice a steady stream of wasps using the same air brick or small gap around your home, there’s a good chance a nest is developing inside the cavity.

The earlier it’s identified, the easier it is to deal with. Our treatment costs are fixed at £70 and treatments are guaranteed.

🐝 Not the kind of guest you want in your hot tub!

We were recently called out to remove a wasp nest that had been built inside a customer’s hot tub. Warm, sheltered spaces like this can make the perfect nesting spot, especially if the hot tub hasn’t been used for a while. These wasps had also eaten away some of the insulation within the unit in order to expand their nest.

If you’re getting your hot tub ready to enjoy this summer, it’s always worth giving it a thorough check first. A quick inspection could save you from an unpleasant surprise!

Our treatment costs are fixed at £70 and treatments are guaranteed.
