Job Description:

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing groundworks activities on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to keep projects running smoothly during the cover period.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate groundworks teams on site
Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations
Monitor progress and maintain quality standards
Liaise with site management and subcontractors
Address and resolve any on-site issues promptly
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Groundworks Supervisor/Ganger or similar role
Strong knowledge of groundwork operations and site procedures
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
CSCS card (required)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Details:

Location: Harker
Rate: £22 PAYE
£43.00 Lodge Allowance available if residence is 1 hour from the site.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and reliable Office Admin Assistant to join our growing team in Gravesend. This is a key position within the business, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of office operations while providing essential administrative support.

You will also assist with recruitment processes and timesheet management, playing an important role in supporting both office and staffing functions.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, etc.)
✅ Managing emails and transferring relevant data into individual folders
✅ Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
✅ Making outbound calls when required
✅ Assisting with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and managing candidate information
✅ Supporting the processing, checking and organisation of staff timesheets
✅ Maintaining accurate records, files and databases
✅ Providing general administrative support to the wider team

Requirements

✔ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
✔ Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
✔ Confident using email systems and managing data effectively
✔ Good written and verbal communication skills
✔ Professional telephone manner
✔ Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment
