We all need some support when life gets tricky . We offered to help clear a garden in Gravesend for a family who felt that things were getting on top of them and were unable to find a way forward. By helping them this meant the family , who had two young children, were able to get their outdoor space back and be able to manage the garden in the future.

We were told by the parents that on the way to school the children had said that they were really excited about coming home and playing in the garden as this was something that they had not been able to do for a while .

This clearance work was completed by BTS Garden services with staff giving their time for free. Huge thanks to Bernie, Dylan and Cherie for their all hard work which enabled this to happen.

Cherry tree dismantled in Gravesend due to the roots moving fence post, it was only when it was cut down completely that very early signs of butt rot were seen, Cherry trees often get butt rot, so it was a good idea to take the tree down as otherwise it would probably have fallen over in about 5 years. Looking at the pics the darker colour in the wood is the early signs, but if you look at the side cut you can see how it travels up the trunk.
