Latest review is in 🎉

Another repair from last week. Investigations showed that the bottom row of tiles had completely separated from the row above and the plasterboard behind.

Again, zero waterproofing to be found behind the tiles which meant there was nothing to isolate the water to the wet area and it ended up rotting away the plasterboard and leaking through the ceiling below.

The impacted area was ripped out and left to fully dry. Schlüter Kerdi board and waterproofing tape was installed as a preventative measure in case there are any future issues. Patched in the tiles, colour matched the grout and silicone to finish - good as new ✨

- waterproofing system 💪
- ultracolour plus grout & silicone 🙌
- rapid set adhesive 👊

Like new ✨ regrout, reseal and redecorate!

After tackling the mould build-up in this bathroom, the old grout and silicone were carefully removed and reapplied. Zinsser cover stain was applied to the ceiling and then finished off with anti-mould bathroom paint.

Yep, I decorate as well as tile… it’s all part of the ‘finishing’ service!

Just a reseal required in the second bathroom. Both looking nice and fresh again.

Herringbone splashback ✨
A builder said they’d tile this for the customer. They pulled off layers of plaster and then disappeared leaving it in a poor condition.
I removed any loose plaster, fixed 4mm backerboard to provide a secure and level surface for tiling and hey presto… I did my thing and it’s looking so much better now 🙌🏻 customer is over the moon!
