🪴🌷PART TIME NURSERY ASSISTANT REQUIRED🌺🌹

Do you enjoy working with plants and getting stuck in?

We are looking for a part-time Nursery Assistant to join our team, working mainly within our large glasshouse on the production and growing side of our plant nursery.

The role will involve all the usual nursery jobs, including potting, watering, propagation, feeding, moving and spacing plants, weeding, cleaning and general plant care, together with helping prepare plants for sale.

You'll also help our order-picking team when required, particularly during busy periods.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical, enjoys working with plants and takes pride in doing things properly. Previous nursery/horticultural experience would be useful, but we're also happy to consider someone with enthusiasm and the right attitude who is keen to learn.

It's a hands-on role, so you'll need to be comfortable working on your feet, lifting and moving plants and working in a glasshouse environment which can get pretty warm in summer!

Approx. 24 hours per week, with the working pattern to be agreed - school hours welcome.

If you'd like to join an established nursery team and spend your working day surrounded by plants, we'd love to hear from you.

Call us on 01453 791022, or email us at [email protected]

🌼 One of our favourites here at Genus, Erigeron karvinskianus is putting on a lovely show.

A true little workhorse in the garden, Erigeron karvinskianus produces masses of daisy-like flowers from late spring right through summer.

A reliable choice for naturalistic planting, cottage-style borders, containers and walls — and it’s absolutely adored by pollinators too. 🐝

Psst… did we mention we’ve got peat-free grown stock available too? 👀🌿
