🔧Gate Valve Replacement🔧

Customer's loft tank isolation valve had started leaking, causing water damage to the ceiling. After turning off the mains water to prevent any further damage and attempting the replacement herself, she got in touch with us for help. We were able to attend the same day, get everything sorted, and talk her through how we carried out the repair.

✅ Replaced the leaking plastic isolation valve with a new brass gate valve
✅ Lagged the exposed copper pipework for added protection
✅ Same-day attendance and repair

If you've got a plumbing issue that can't wait, we offer emergency call-outs, so don't hesitate to get in touch!

🚰 Kitchen Tap Replacement 🚰

This customer contacted us after experiencing ongoing issues with a loose kitchen tap. Despite several previous repair attempts, the problem kept returning.

Upon investigation, we found the original tap hole had been drilled too large, making it tricky to secure the tap properly. This meant that any additional pressure or regular heavy use caused the tap to work loose.

✅️ Advised the customer on the most suitable replacement tap, which they then purchased.
✅️ Installed brass pipework beneath the sink to provide a secure, watertight connection for the flexible hoses
✅️ Repositioned the tap centrally, then applied silicone underneith (acting as a rubber b**g) to keep the tap as rigid and secure for as long as possible

Another happy customer with a permanent fix instead of another temporary repair 🔧

Our biggest silicone job yet, and what a transformation! 😍

A returning customer called us out to tackle multiple problem areas around their bathroom and kitchen. Their kitchen sink was leaking & wobbling, while the bath and basin had old, mouldy silicone that were mouldy and leaking. We even gave the toilet a fresh reseal to finish the job off properly.

✅ Kitchen sink resealed and secured for a solid fit
✅ Shower screen removed and reinstalled so the bath could be resealed properly
✅ Basin professionally resealed
➕️ Added in a bonus toilet reseal to complete the job!

Fresh silicone doesn't just improve the look of your home, it helps to prevent leaks, mould, and water damage.

If you're putting off getting your bath, sink, shower or worktops resealed, now's the time to get it sorted. Get in touch today for a free quote💬

Do we use generative AI (ChatGPT, etc.) for our marketing? Nope!

We know AI is everywhere right now, but we have chosen to keep our marketing personal and authentic. We believe that if a business is happy to take shortcuts in its marketing, it may raise concerns about where else it might be cutting corners 😳

Ethics wise, the environment & small business' also suffer as a result of generative ai use, which is another reason we choose not to use it.

I, Mary Faux - Business Manager here at Norton Faux Plumbing & Heating, create and manage all of our marketing and graphic design myself. Whilst Regan, handles the plumbing side of things💪. Canva definitely helps with templates and design elements, but every idea, caption, campaign, and creative direction comes from me!

It takes a huge amount of work behind the scenes, but it's important to us that our marketing reflects who we really are & our dedication to the work we carry out👍
