Centreline Construction, we believe in working smarter, not harder—especially when it comes to the heavy lifting of a roof renewal. Efficiency on site means a faster turnaround, a safer crew, and a flawlessly finished roof.
The Setup
A resilient roof starts with meticulous prep, you can see we’ve secured the structure with a high-quality Marley breathable membrane and freshly installed treated battens. Getting this weather-tight base perfectly aligned sets the stage before the real weight gets added.
The Lift
Hauling heavy materials up a ladder by hand is a thing of the past. As shown in our site video, we utilise a motorized bumpa hoist to handle the grueling grunt work. This continuous conveyor system effortlessly transports the tiles directly from the mud to the scaffold level. It saves our team’s backs, significantly reduces fatigue, and slashes our loading time in half.
The Layout
The real secret to roofing efficiency is in the staging. Rather than moving tiles around haphazardly during the actual installation, we pre-load and distribute the stacks uniformly across the battens.
Structural Balance: Spreading the stacks out evenly prevents concentrated weight stress on the roof trusses during the build phase.
Peak Efficiency: Once the team actually begins laying the tiles, the materials are already within arm's reach. This means zero wasted movement, less walking across the battens, and a much faster installation rhythm.
Site Safety: An organised layout keeps the scaffolding and the roof deck clear of unnecessary clutter, minimising trip hazards.
Investing in the right mechanical gear and strategically staging materials before laying a single tile is exactly how Centreline Construction guarantees a smooth, safe, and top-tier build from start to finish.
