As the project, nestled in the East Kent countryside in the village of Aylesham on the outskirts of Canterbury, nears the completion of its delightful 39 affordable new homes on behalf of Moat Housing we are thrilled that the team have gained rightful recognition for excellence in quality, safety and site-wide management in being awarded ‘The Bricks’ Site Recognition Award from LABC Warranty. 🙌🏻

The team were presented with their award by representatives from the LABC as apt acknowledgement of their dedication, tireless efforts, and excellent management to bring these new homes to life to such a high quality whilst creating a culture of safety, inclusivity, and community.✨

The Bench Building, Dover has been recognised as one of the best projects in our county, shortlisted for the ‘Construction Project of the Year’ award in the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards 2026.🙌🏻

The shortlisting recognises overall excellence in design, delivery, partnership working, and long-term community impact. More than a construction project, it is a transformational regeneration scheme that has created a lasting legacy for Dover, delivering measurable economic, social, and environmental benefits while acting as a catalyst for future growth and investment. ✨

We are incredibly proud to be finalists for the deserved recognition this brings to all involved at every stage and for the bold ambition of our client Dover District Council ☺️

Jenner Seasonal Update – Autumn 2026

At the end of September, we had the pleasure to attend the Streets Ahead Collective official opening at Necessary Furniture on the outskirts of Canterbury that we helped create and were honoured to be in the presence of so many local dignitaries and VIPs. 🧑‍🎨

Jenner through our team within Park Farm Construction donated our time and multi-skilled labour to this amazing project to bring the vision of a creative community hub to life. We always we love giving back to our local community and this one may be one of our favourites. ✨

Liz, Founder of the Streets Ahead Collective is a force to be reckoned with and an absolute pleasure to work with - her passion and ambition for what she does isn’t something you see every day - dedicating her time and heart to others and we couldn’t be prouder to have been able to support this initiative.☺️

Necessary Furniture is a one-of-a-kind second-hand furniture shop and manager Kylie, and her entire team are incredible. Although we might of have lost Barry to them … we couldn’t be happier to have delivered them new artists’ studios and a makers shed which will have a hugely positive impact on the wellbeing of so many.🧑‍🎨

❤️ B A C K O N B R A N D! ❤️

Tomorrow we return to the Kent Construction Expo and are excited for another busy day ahead!

After last year’s celebratory gold 💛 to commemorate our 150th year we have returned to our infamous Jenner RED!

This year we’re ‘getting down with the kids’ (so to speak) which basically means we’re delighted to welcome many of our rising stars 🌟 to join us for the day as we promote the all important skills agenda ⚒️ 🧱 and celebrate our many successes in nurturing young talent and giving them the opportunity to build a rewarding and exciting career in construction! They are the future of our industry so tomorrow the floor is theirs! 🥰

Don’t worry many of us ‘more experienced’ members of the team will still be out in force so do drop by and say hello, grab a drink and perhaps test your skills and take on one of the youngsters in our table football tournament! ⚽️ or just grab a cheeky pic 📷 as our Photobooth returns again this time!

We’re in the middle of the main exhibition hall - you can’t miss us - just look out for the red balloons! 🎈

Last week marked the official opening ceremony of the new Bench Building in Dover 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to have delivered this landmark project on behalf of Dover District Council bringing a bold ambition to life in the built form delivering educational, business, and creative facilities to the heart of the town. 🙌🏻

This essential regeneration project is set to deliver over £90m in economic benefit, bringing investment to boost jobs, skills, and opportunities for local people.✨

It is fantastic to see this important project reach this milestone, and we’re proud to have played our part in creating a space that will support Dover’s future growth, creativity and nurture future generations for many years to come.☺️

(Another) care sector contract commences…

We are building a new care home in Faversham for Barchester Healthcare. 😊✨

This luxury new home will provide personalised residential, dementia and respite care for older people in Faversham and the surrounding areas from early 2028. 👏🏻

It will include a cafe for residents to socialise and enjoy freshly baked treats, spa bathrooms for a luxury bath time experience, beautiful en-suite bedrooms with smart TV’s, a choice of comfortable lounges, a dedicated activities room, a cinema for an authentic movie experience, and in-house hair and beauty salon for a little bit of pampering. 💆🏼‍♀️💇🏻‍♂️

Our in-house Groundwork team Park Farm Civils have been taking care of all the ground work aspects. 💛👷‍♂️

We are incredibly proud to announce that Jenner Group has been shortlisted for the Building the future awards , taking place this November!

Jenner has been shortlisted for (Large) Employer of the Year – but that's not all! 🎉

Our Head of Communications and Business Development, Ella Sandall, has also been shortlisted for Role Model of the Year.✨

Alongside her role at Jenner, Ella dedicates countless hours to supporting the wider community. She is a trustee for Donations With A Difference, a governor at EKC Group, Co-Chair of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chair of Constructing Excellence Kent, and a member of the Kent and Medway Business Fund Investment Advisory Board. These roles are all voluntary, reflecting Ella's passion for giving back, supporting others, and helping to shape the future of our industry. 🙌🏻😄

We are incredibly proud to have Ella as part of the Jenner Group team and congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition.☺️

But the celebrations don't stop there!👀

Our Bench Joiner Apprentice, Rosie Payne, has been shortlisted for Young Apprentice of the Year.🙌🏻

Rosie has been with Park Farm Joinery for two years, and we couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved. Her accomplishments already include winning the 2026 EKC Group KFE Competition and the 2026 SkillBuild Regional Competition, with no doubt many more successes to come.😄

Since joining PFJ, Rosie's confidence and self-belief have grown tremendously. She has become a real asset to the team, and we hope her success inspires more women to consider a career in a construction trade.🤞

👋CLINTON CLOCKS-OFF FOR THE FINAL TIME 👋

As Site Manager Clinton Dunn hangs-up his site safety boots for the last time today, we bid a very fond farewell to a loyal and much-loved member of the Jenner team as he retires after 19 years of dedicated service.👏🏻

In delivering many challenging and complex projects for us since joining Jenner back in 2006, most notably his penultimate project delivery of Margate Digital Campus, Clinton’s dedication, skills and warm demeanour will be greatly missed from the Jenner team as he heads into his next chapter to enjoy life at a (slightly) more leisurable pace on the coast with his family and to travel more. From schools to housing developments and so much in-between Clinton’s project portfolio is vast and his skills-set is impressive with bricklaying 🧱, electrical 💡 and carpentry 🪚trades under his belt from a young age. He has always loved to teach others and share his knowledge and for passion construction with younger generations whilst openly confessing to never having stopped learning himself as the industry has continuously changed and evolved. ✨

Clinton, from us all at Jenner, we thank you most sincerely for your many years of loyal service, hard work, and commitment to delivering to the very highest standards and always with a smile on your face. We wish you every happiness in your retirement, but please don’t be a stranger (we’ll need you for holiday cover!) ❤️
