🍂 AUTUMN LAWN SCARIFICATION 🌱
It’s that time of year again!
Throughout October we’ll be scarifying lawns to remove the build-up of moss, thatch and dead material sitting within the grass.
As you can see from the photos, even a lawn that looks green and healthy can have a surprising amount of thatch hiding underneath!
Scarification can look quite brutal while we’re doing it 😅 but removing all that unwanted material allows the lawn to breathe, encourages healthier new growth and helps water and nutrients get down into the soil.
For the best results, scarification can also be combined with:
🌱 Overseeding
🌱 Autumn lawn feed
🌱 Aeration
🌱 Top dressing where required
Your lawn might look worse before it looks better — but that’s all part of the process!
