Ferry Road Project nearing completion, 6 months work over an 18 month period, working around several other trades people busy with the house build was a challenge. The retaining reinforced solid concrete block wall is the backbone of the build, but a stunning feature clad with black split faced slate cladding and capped with grey porcelain copings to match the two areas of paving. The upper hot tub area and the lower patio including the 1.8m wide steps are all laid to the mm with the grout lines flowing from the top level down to the lower level. The clay paved fire pit area subtly join the areas together providing a beautiful contrast in colour and texture. The millboard deck areas step up from the outdoor kitchen to the bar and summer house, allowing an easy transition through the garden, but also offer stunning views of the garden as you look down into the lower areas. Other features within the garden are the frameless glass balustrades, aluminium pergola, recessed water blade set into the the retaining wall, Venetian fencing and gates and steel edging to define the sharp lines of the lawns, gravel and border areas. Once the plants lights and speakers are all in I will send a post of each element to explain how the building came together. This has been the most amazing project to be involved with and the team should be so proud of what they have delivered!
