We have a passion for exotic gardens.

We are a UK mail-order outlet for tuberous Aroid plants, along with other specialist and rare plants. Our range includes Alocasia, Amorphophallus, Arisaema, Arisarum, Arum,Biarum, Colocasia, Dracunculus, Helicodiceros, Pinellia, Remusatia, Sauromatum, Typhonium, Xanthosoma and Zantedeschia. Very much looking forward to attending and being part of the annual Tregrehan Rare Plant Fair on Sunday. Two sleeps to go! Might this be the best event in the UK for the dedicated chlorophyll ju**ie? Probably!

An incredible selection of the finest specialist nurseries in the SW and a few from further afield. Can't wait!

Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this past year, ordered plants and seeds or simply said hello at various plant fairs. It means a lot.

Order dispatch will be resuming after January 5th.

The shortest day of the year is now past us and so we can look forward to brighter days in the garden to come!

Here's a photo of a rarely seen Arisaema that only appears around late December each year. Not formally described to science and hence unnamed as yet - suggestions welcome! 😆

Winter is the perfect time for planning for next season, and for buying seeds!

A couple of popular Aroid seeds are back in stock:

Leucocasia gigantea (sometimes known under the old name Colocasia gigantea)

and the very rare Zantedeschia jucunda - a hardy and beautiful yellow Arum Lily from South Africa.

We have already had our first germination from our Amorphophallus titanum seeds! These are still available and would make a fun Christmas present!
