A customer recently contacted us because they thought their fencing needed completely replacing.

We came out to inspect the job and, rather than simply recommending a full replacement, we took a closer look. 👀

The good news? The fence panels themselves were still in good condition.
It was actually the wooden posts that had rotted and were no longer providing the support the fence needed.

So instead of putting the customer through the unnecessary expense of replacing the whole fence, we came up with a more cost-effective solution — installing concrete spurs to strengthen and re-secure the existing fence. 💪

✅ Fence saved
✅ Stronger support
✅ Less disruption
✅ A much cheaper solution for the customer

🌿 Apologies for the lack of posts! 🌿

We’ve been incredibly busy over the summer getting stuck into some fantastic projects, so our social media has definitely taken a bit of a back seat! 😅

But we’re back, and we’ve got plenty of work to share with you over the coming weeks. 👌

Here’s a look at one of our recent projects for a returning customer, which is always a pleasure. ❤️

We originally completed a full landscaping transformation of this garden, creating a beautiful outdoor space with a fantastic view. More recently, we’ve been back to complete the featheredge fencing, adding the finishing touches and giving the garden some extra privacy and definition.

It’s great to return to a previous customer and see how the garden has developed — and even better to be trusted to carry out more work for them.

🌿 Recent Garden Transformation Completed 🌿

This project was completed in 2 stages, and what a transformation it turned out to be! 💪

Here’s just some of the work that went into creating this amazing family garden:

✔️ 95 oak sleepers installed
✔️ 35 tonnes of soil moved to create 2 separate levels
✔️ 90m² of fresh turf laid
✔️ 7 tonnes of screeded topsoil
✔️ 11 dumpy bags of Cotswold stone
✔️ 300m of Drain Tech fabric fitted

The list goes on… but the end result says it all 🙌

Most importantly, we’ve got one very happy customer and two very happy kids enjoying their new garden 🌱⚽

🚧 Another transformation completed by B.V Home and Garden Improvements! 🚧

Our customer wanted to enlarge their driveway to create more space for vehicles and improve visibility—and we delivered! 🚙🛻

We removed a massive 35 tons of material before rebuilding the area with beautiful Cotswold stone, giving it a clean and durable finish. To complete the look, we installed new pin kerbs for a sharp, defined edge.

Nothing went to waste either ♻️ All trees and hedges that were cleared were chipped down and reused around the garden—keeping things sustainable while enhancing the outdoor space.
