Most people don't realise their home's losing heat until the bills go up. By then, it's usually been happening a while.

A few signs worth checking for: walls that stay cold even with the heating on, damp patches showing up in corners, windows steaming up more than they used to, and energy bills creeping up year on year.

All of these usually point back to the same thing, heat escaping through the walls faster than it should.

A house in a spot like this looks incredible, but that sea view comes with a trade-off. Salt air is brutal on exterior walls over time, and most finishes start showing it within a few years, cracking, fading, going patchy.

This one's sprayed with cork, which handles coastal conditions properly. It resists the salt, keeps its colour, and doesn't need the constant upkeep a normal render would in a spot this exposed.

If your home's anywhere near the coast and you're worried about how it'll hold up, message us. We'll give you a straight answer on what it needs. πŸ’¬

If your conservatory only gets used for about three months of the year, it's not you; it's the roof.

Glass and polycarbonate roofing do almost nothing to hold heat in or keep it out, which is why the room swings between too hot and too cold depending on the season. Cork spray insulates the roof properly, so you get a space that's actually comfortable whatever time of year it is.

If you've been avoiding your conservatory for a while now, we'd love to help you get it back. Just message us and we'll have a friendly chat about what it needs.

Not every exterior finish is built to handle salt air. Some look fine for the first year or two, then start cracking, fading, or letting damp in once the coastal weather gets to work on them.

Before you pick one, ask yourself three things:

❓ Does it actually resist salt air, or just look good at first?
❓ Will it need repainting every few years, or is it done?
❓ Is it protecting the wall underneath, not just the surface?

Cork Spray answers yes to all three, which is why it holds up so well on coastal properties long after other finishes start showing their age.

Know someone with a house near the coast about to get theirs redone? Send them this before they choose. πŸ“©

Bare metal to fully sprayed, this van's ready for whatever comes next. 🚐

Left on its own, a van's metal shell holds onto cold and lets condensation build up, that damp, dripping feeling you get inside if it's not dealt with early. Sprayed with cork before the conversion starts, it's a completely different story. Warmer inside, no condensation on the walls, and only 3mm added, so you're not losing any of the space you're building into.

People always say they wish they'd sorted the insulation first. If you're about to start your build, this is exactly the bit not to skip, message us before you go any further. πŸ’¬

British weather doesn't care how new your render is. Sooner or later the rain, salt air, and cold find a way in.

Cork Spray works differently. It resists water, handles coastal salt without breaking down, and doesn't need constant touching up to stay looking right.

If your walls are already showing signs of wear, message us, we'll tell you honestly whether cork's the right fix.

False. ❌

Cork Spray follows every edge, corner, and doorframe exactly like it does a flat wall. It's sprayed on as a fine, even coat, so it wraps around tight spaces without gaps, lines, or patch marks, something traditional render struggles with.

Most people assume spray coatings only work on big flat walls, but that's not the case. Every corner and awkward edge gets the same clean finish, no gaps, no visible joins, nothing patchy.

"We were amazed at what was achieved in one day!"

That's what Mrs E Smith told us after we finished her job, and it's one of the things people are always surprised by with Cork Spray . Because it's sprayed rather than built up in layers like traditional render, a job that'd normally take days can often be done in one.

She also said the team were helpful and friendly, gave useful advice along the way, and worked to a proper standard, exactly what we aim for on every job, not just the finish, but the whole experience of having it done.

If you're thinking about getting your place done, just message us, we're always happy to have a chat and talk you through what it'd look like for your home. 😊

Coastal properties take a beating that inland homes just don't deal with. Salt in the air wears down standard finishes fast, which is why so many seaside homes need repainting every few years.

Cork spray's built to handle that. It resists salt properly, holds its colour, and doesn't need the constant attention normal render does.

Worried about how your place is holding up? Message us and we'll give you a straight answer.

Bare wood to fully sprayed, same summer house, completely different finish. 🌿

Raw timber looks fine to start with, but left exposed it soaks up moisture, fades in the sun, and needs constant treating to stay looking decent. Once it's sprayed, that's done. No more re-staining every year, no more worrying about rain getting into the joints.

You get a solid colour that stays put, better weather protection, and one less job on your list every summer.

Got a shed, summer house, or outbuilding that needs the same treatment? Message us and we'll sort it. πŸ’¬
