The Yennadon stone is starting to go up, marking an exciting milestone in our new-build project.

This is the beginning of the external finish taking shape, and it’s already looking fantastic. It’s great to see the character of the building coming through as the stonework progresses.

A big well done to the team for the quality of workmanship so far. We’re looking forward to seeing this one develop as more of the stone is laid and the building really starts to come to life.

More updates to follow as this project continues to take shape.

Our full renovation project in Topsham is progressing nicely, with plenty of hard work going in behind the scenes.

With restricted access to the property, logistics have been a real challenge on this one. The team even had to carry the new staircase approximately 500 metres to get it to the property. A great example of the lengths our lads go to keep a project moving forward.

First-fix plumbing and electrical works are now complete, and we’ve been busy installing the plasterboard as we prepare for the next stage.

Plastering is due to start next week, bringing us another step closer to transforming this property.

A big well done to the team for their hard work, adaptability and commitment throughout this project.

Atlas Construction was tasked with rebuilding this retaining wall alongside the riverbed, delivering a robust structure designed to complement the surrounding environment.

The works included reinforced concrete foundations, a block-on-flat retaining wall, and a pebble-faced finish to blend in with the existing surroundings. Coping stones were then installed to complete the wall, leaving everything ready for the bridge installation.

Another project completed, combining structural strength with a finish that respects the surrounding landscape.

Our double-storey extension in Exeter is moving along nicely, with some great progress made by the team at Atlas Construction.

• Masonry shell completed
• Roof installed and completed
• Internal alterations carried out
• Major structural steelwork installed
• First-fix carpentry completed

Next week, our plumbers and electricians will be on site completing their first-fix works as we continue to move forward with the project.

It’s great to see everything taking shape, with the major structural works behind us and the next stages of the build coming together.

A big well done to everyone involved for their hard work and commitment so far.

Another exciting update from the team at Atlas Construction as our Crediton extension continues to progress.

We’re moving closer to the finish line on Phase 1, with the painters coming in next week, alongside second-fix electrics and the installation of the oak woodwork.

Once these final touches are complete, we’ll be moving straight into Phase 2 — replacing the living room floor and installing a new oak staircase.

It’s great to see this project coming together, with quality finishes and attention to detail helping bring the vision to life.

A big well done to everyone involved so far. We look forward to sharing more progress as the next phase gets underway!

Another project successfully delivered by the team at Atlas Construction!

This job included a single-ply roofing system with two Velux roof windows installed, bringing in natural light while providing a clean, modern finish.

We also completed a large wraparound decking area, incorporating steps and a ramp to create a practical, accessible and attractive outdoor space.

A great result delivered through hard work, attention to detail and quality workmanship from the team.

A big well done to everyone involved in getting this project over the line!

At Atlas Construction, we believe that health, safety and looking after one another is everyone’s responsibility.

Recently, our team took part in first aid training on site, reinforcing the importance of being prepared, confident and able to respond when it matters most.

From our apprentices starting out in the industry to our senior team members, it’s vital that these skills and knowledge are shared and maintained throughout the entire company.

Construction can be a challenging environment, and having the right training in place can make a real difference. Investing in our people means investing in a safer workplace for everyone.

The first floor is now going up, with the Pozi joists being installed and the structure really starting to take shape.

Natural stone is on order and will be arriving on site shortly, ready for the next phase of the build.
