This Pluck Kitchens kitchen already has bags of character, so the worktops didn’t need to shout — they just needed to finish it perfectly.

We used Tristone UK Limited Natural Pearl, keeping everything simple, clean and modern, but it’s the little details that really make it:

The coved upstands flow seamlessly from the worktop, the drainer grooves are machined straight into the surface, and those smooth, virtually invisible joints keep the whole thing looking like one continuous piece.

Simple at first glance. Plenty going on when you look a little closer.

That’s the beauty of solid surface — the detail is in what you don’t see.

How do you make an island worktop look this good when there’s a structural column right in the middle of it? 👀

With granite or quartz, an island like this would usually mean living with a visible joint. Luckily, our customer opted for Tristone Frost Quartz — allowing the worktop to be fabricated around the column and the joints finished until they’re virtually invisible.

And just look at that finish. 🤌
