A HOME THAT GROWS WITH THE FAMILY

The way you use your home changes as your family grows, and sometimes the space needs to change with you.

For this family, their existing barn conversion needs additional living space as their teenage boys grow older, while retaining the character of the original property.

The single-storey extension is designed in a traditional style to complement the existing barn conversion, with the stonework, roof form, proportions and detailing carefully considered so the new addition sits naturally alongside the existing building.

The result will give the family the extra space they need without creating an extension that feels separate or out of keeping with their home.

Because adding more space isn’t simply about making a home bigger. It’s about making sure it continues to work for the people living in it.
