I measured one of the luffahs I’m growing, and so far it’s a whopping 80 cm long!

I think it’s still got plenty of growing left to do, so who knows how long it will get!

The funny thing is, these luffahs haven’t been fed at all… In fact, I’m too scared to feed them! 😂🌱

Do you make your own leaf mould? 🍂 It’s such a great way to recycle autumn leaves and create something useful for the garden.

I usually leave mine in the bags for more than a year, but this year I needed some extra mulch for the beds. So satisfying to open the bags and find lovely, crumbly leaf mould! 🌿

A little tip: don’t overfill the bags — filling them only halfway helps the leaves break down faster. 🍁

This batch is mainly made from ash and cherry leaves. 🍁

Only two weeks until the summer break, and some of our plants are already fruiting!

We hope the children get to enjoy this garden as much as we do before the holidays begin. Watering the plants is the perfect excuse to get them outside, exploring, learning, and spending time in the garden. 💚
