Regular maintenance keeps your gates reliable. This gate has been looked after by us for a couple of years. During the recent maintenance our engineer found that the manual release mechanism was faulty and could not be released.
We visited with two engineers to replace the faulty parts. However on trying to lift off the gates the bottom pivots were found to be almost completely seized. We carry many parts at our office and fortunately we had replacements on the shelf. After removing the old ones and fully greasing everything up, the system is now back working correctly.
This system had not been maintained for years before we took over and once the system begins to seize there is little that can be done other than a full strip down, clean up and re grease. Or replace parts as in this case.
The moral of the story, as with any mechanical product. Maintenance from new is the key to saving money in the long run.
We offer maintenance on all of our new installations allowing extended warranties to be put into place.
We are also happy to take on existing gates for maintenance and give advice on work required to make them more reliable.

Here is a recent installation completed with something a little different. Customer requested that their house name was added into the gate design.
Our supplier cut the property name into the new aluminium gate and then filled it with white resin to make it pop!
Slightly different colour gate this time as the customer chose from the multitude of RAL colours to compliment their property.
Fitted with BFT Giuno gate automation to ensure reliability and safety.
Acuvox video intercom fitted to this gate and also their existing pedestrian gate along with internal monitor.
Customer is very happy with the final look of the system.

Not often do we get asked for a double barrier set up. One of our regular customers was looking of an entry and exit barrier system. They specified the Came Gard 8 and we were happy to install them. Safety and exit by means of an Evoloop on each barrier. Along with the customers ANPR system and intercoms.

Sometimes it’s all about the speed of response. This barrier was reported to us as being broken at 7.45am. By 4.15pm it was repaired along with new safety edge and lights.
We can work with customers in many ways. This customer asked us to hold stock for them to ensure swift repairs can be completed. We don’t do this for everyone. However, our vans do carry a stock of equipment to do our utmost to repair on the first visit.
