"She's my shadow, sticks to me like glue and comes to work with me every day. If she doesn't get to come, she sulks. Loves her cuddles from her dad when he gets home from work. Sleeps on our bed between the pillows like a human... Spoilt!"

I think that tells you everything you need to know about this gorgeous little cocker spaniel.

This is one of my newest paintings that I can finally reveal, and what a lovely dog she was to paint. The pose is honestly one of the best reference photos I've received — full of character, beautiful lighting, and those eyes that seem to know exactly how pretty she is.

I have a feeling she knows she's the centre of attention... and quite rightly so.

It’s finally time… my Small Estate Collection is now live.
Original paintings and print pre-orders are officially available, and I’m so excited to finally be sharing this collection properly with you all after working on it quietly behind the scenes for so long.

To help introduce them, Tildy very kindly stepped in as my assistant for the video… and somehow even managed to wink at the camera right at the end. Completely accidental, but I think she’s hired for future launches now.

Honestly so excited to finally get these out into the world.

Wee Wednesday is back

It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so I’ve opened up a few spaces for my smaller Wee Wednesday portraits.

There are just 4 A5 watercolour pet portraits available this time, which I paint in between my usual commissions.

If you’d like one, just send me a message with your photo and I’ll get you booked in.
To secure a space it’s a £60 deposit, with the remaining balance due once your portrait is finished.

Each one is:
Hand painted in watercolour
Professionally mounted, ready to frame
Gift wrapped in a presentation box
Finished with a Certificate of Authenticity

They’re a lovely option if you’ve been thinking about a portrait, or if you’re after something a bit special to gift

Once the spaces are filled, I’ll open them again next month.

Tight curls and soft highlights — I’m convinced she posed on purpose for this one. The composition was just perfect for painting, everything sitting exactly where it should.

Sometimes you get a reference photo that does half the work for you, and this was definitely one of them.
