I can’t stop looking at this plant… one leaf came out almost completely white, the other is streaked with green like it couldn’t decide what it wanted to be — and somehow it works. It’s honestly unreal.

It just made me think… God didn’t have to put this much detail into something so small. But He did anyway.

And it makes me wonder how often I miss what He’s doing in my own life, just because I’m only looking from a distance. Up close, there’s so much intention — even in the slow growth, even in the parts that look different or unexpected.

Jesus reminds me that nothing is random. Not the waiting, not the change, not even the parts of me that don’t look like I thought they would.

It’s all being shaped. Quietly. Carefully.

Maybe I need to start looking at my life the way I’m looking at this leaf… not questioning why it looks different, but just appreciating that God knew exactly what He was doing.

There’s so much beauty in the details if you actually stop long enough to see them.

Bad soil vs good soil 🌱

Bad soil: compacted, lifeless, holds too much water or dries out too fast… basically a one-way ticket to root rot or sad, struggling plants.

Good soil: light, airy, and full of life ✨
My mix = natural sphagnum moss + activated biochar + Komodo coconut terrain + orchid bark + perlite + compost

It drains well, holds just enough moisture, and gives roots room to breathe 🌿

Healthy roots = happy plant 💚

Caught my eye the second I went into Dobbies Garden Centre today. £69.99 for a 24cm pot.
Remember considering to first save a plant in the clearence section as they just need a little TLC and you save so much. ☺️🪴
