Is it just me or did August fly by...
For us, the first half of August was the end of the school holidays, and double digits for our youngest, then all of a sudden we're tripping over school bags and encouraging the kids to get up on time for school!
Over the summer, you just get on with it. People are coming and going, the house is in constant use, the fridge never stays full for long, there are shoes everywhere, washing appears from nowhere - but the sun was shining, so who cares!
Then we can finally take a breath and decide what's next on the list, and this often starts at home. Can you do another winter without underfloor heating in the bathroom or another family gathering in a kitchen that just doesn't work as well as it could? Then the questions start...
“Why do we always end up piling everything here?”
“We really don’t use this room properly.”
“There must be a better way of doing this.”
"Where do we start?"
It's often this time of year, as we prepare for cosy nights in and festive celebrations, that you take stock and home starts to feel important in a slightly different way.
As a Spatial and Interior Designer specialising in kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, I can help you work through all those questions and offer either a design-only service or a fully managed, end-to-end service, depending on how much support you need.
So if you’re having a bit of a post-holiday moment of reflection and thinking about changes you’d like to make at home, feel free to get in touch for a no-obligation chat. We’d love to hear what you’re considering!
