A great first week on site at Barbour’s Edinburgh store!
It’s been a fantastic start to what’s shaping up to be a very rewarding restoration project. Working on a prominent listed building in the heart of Edinburgh is a privilege, and we’re proud to be trusted with restoring this historic shopfront.
Over the past week we’ve carefully stripped back failing timber, uncovered years of previous repairs, and begun replacing damaged sections with new timber, ensuring everything is repaired to a high standard, whiles preserving the building’s original character.
There’s still plenty of work ahead, but we’re looking forward to seeing this beautiful Edinburgh landmark restored to its former glory.
A huge thank you to everyone involved so far. We can’t wait to share the transformation over the coming weeks.
