Maggie's: Architecture that Cares at V&A Dundee
We're excited to share our latest commission for and 🧡
Using a simple palette of pine, douglas fir plywood and twinwall polycarbonate, we built and installed the new exhibition marking 30 years of Maggie's Centres, a network of cancer support centres around the UK.
Founded in Edinburgh in 1996 by Maggie Keswick Jencks and Charles Jencks, the centres were created as places of warmth and support beyond the clinical hospital environment. Architects including Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and Norman Foster were invited to design buildings that feel welcoming and uplifting.
The exhibition brings together the voices of visitors, staff and architects in the form of photographs, architectural models, sketches, films and interviews; exploring how thoughtful design can shape spaces of care.
We’re really pleased to have been involved in bringing this exhibition together.
Open until 1st November 2026, free entry - a must see! 💫
