We've got three more joining us this year - one Mechanical apprentice in Perth and two Electrical apprentices in Edinburgh.

An apprenticeship is the start of something pretty exciting. There's a lot to learn, plenty of hands-on experience and a whole career ahead to build 🛠
As employers, we have a responsibility to help give people that start.
The construction industry needs skilled people, and that means investing in the next generation and giving them the chance to learn from experienced colleagues.

We're proud to share some photos from our latest project at James Thomson House, where our JGM Fire & Security team completed the fit-out works for N-able across Levels 1 & 2.

Working alongside SPACE Solutions and Hutcheon Services Ltd, we extended and integrated the existing:
- Fire Alarm System
- PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm)
- Access Control
The project was completed on time and within budget, and it was great to see everyone working together to get the job over the line 👏
This was our first project as a team with Space Solutions and Hutcheon Services, and we're looking forward to working together again in the future.

A big thank you to Steve Mason, our Fire & Security Project Manager, our Fire & Security engineers and all the project partners for the hard work that went into making this a success.

We're delighted to welcome Fiona and Simon to our Edinburgh team.

Three Mechanical Apprentices have recently joined our Edinburgh team as part of our 2026 intake and have now completed their induction programme 👏

Starting an apprenticeship is the beginning of an exciting journey, and we're proud to play a part in helping young people develop new skills, gain practical experience and build confidence in the workplace.

Pool, darts and... karaoke?

Last Friday, our Edinburgh team got together at Marco's for a staff night out filled with plenty of laughs, friendly competition and a great atmosphere.
The biggest surprise of the evening was definitely the karaoke! 🤩

A few people weren't overly enthusiastic when it was first suggested, but that quickly changed once the music started. Before long, the microphones were being passed around and the room was full of applause and a few performances that genuinely impressed us. We might even have a couple of future radio stars in the team...

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a fun evening 👏

We're proud to share that our Perth team successfully completed a sponsored walk at Ben Vrackie, Pitlochry, on 26th June in support of The Brain Tumour Charity, having raised an incredible £1,925 so far.

It was a wonderful day, and we're so proud of everyone who took part. Most of all, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraising page and cheered us on. Your generosity helped us reach this fantastic total 🤩👏

🔎 We're looking for a Construction Project Administrator to join our Edinburgh team!

Construction projects generate a huge amount of information. Drawings, reports, certifications... Keeping everything organised is critical to successful delivery.
This role helps keep everything on track 🎯
Working alongside Project Managers and site teams, you'll help coordinate documentation, support project controls and keep communication flowing between teams, suppliers and clients.

You'll need to be organised. Detail-focused. Comfortable managing multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Previous experience within construction, project administration or project coordination would be a real advantage.

A warm welcome to the latest group of apprentices joining the Perth team! 👏

Following a recent induction day, six Electrical apprentices and one Mechanical apprentice have officially started their apprenticeship journey, with another Mechanical apprentice due to join shortly.

Apprenticeships play a vital role in attracting and developing future talent for the construction industry, providing valuable hands-on experience alongside professional training.
