Directors Dean Lynch and James Hutson have worked together for 25 years. Dean originally learnt his trade in the North of England before settling in Eastbourne 25 years ago. He has numerous City & Guilds and won awards around the country for his trade of roofing, slating and tiling including “Roofer of the Year” in 1986. James started his apprenticeship under Dean at 17 years old where he went to

college in Esher, Surrey and then 2 years later followed this up with a leadwork course in Tunbridge Wells. He holds an NVQ in Roofing, Slating, Tiling & Leadwork and in the last 2 years James has carried out a course in Leicester in Single ply membrane roofing system. Dean & James started Orbital Roofing & Building Specialists in 2001 and have gradually increased the team over the years to meet job demand and keep a high level of satisfaction. One of their employees is currently undertaking an NVQ at college. The Directors work with the customers from start to finish with quoting and estimating through to carrying out the work themselves with the team.

The Eastbourne Committee for Cancer Research UK is hosting a Charity Ball at The Grand Hotel Eastbourne on 14 November 2026 🎉

Enjoy a drinks reception, three-course meal, live music, dancing, plus a raffle and live auction hosted by local comedian Tucker—all while raising funds for life-saving cancer research.

Another fantastic day of fundraising at the Orbital Charity Golf Day. Big thanks to everyone who participated (92 golfers!), donated and supported our day. We managed to raise an impressive £10,140 which in the current climate is amazing and so generous of everyone. Thank you to Willingdon Golf Club & Pro Shop and CAD Golf for their support and time and to our amazing charities and who will benefit from just over £5k each. It's amazing what can be achieved together ❤️ ✨️
